Tables

Nine tables under the tank rack

Six open, three held, a dealer on Wednesdays, and house chips that will never be worth anything to anybody.

The floor

How the tables are run

Six tables seat whoever walks up. Three sit along the window and can be held by phone for groups of up to seven.

Each table gets its own lamp, a fresh deck every Tuesday and a score pad that is torn off and binned at close.

Our dealer is not a referee. She explains a game, deals a couple of hands if you want her to, and makes sure nobody is left standing about with a drink and no seat.

Five hundred

The house game, four to a table, taught most Wednesdays.

Cribbage

Thursday nights, three tables, boards supplied.

Friendly hold'em

Points only, no buy-in, no rake, no pot.
